Madurodam is a 1:25 scale model of a Dutch city, built in 1952.  It contains typical buildings and architecture prevailent in the Netherlands, as well as several familiar landmarks.

At first glance, this looks like an actual city -- until you zoom in and see people walking around that appear to be the same size as the jumbo jets in the model airport.
